We are structural engineers who specialise in residential and small to medium commercial and industrial projects.
GP Design is located in Bulli and has been consulting to the Illawarra, Southern Highlands and Sydney region since 2001.
We pride ourselves on producing good quality documentation that is project specific, enables confident tendering and disruption free construction.
A BIT ABOUT US
GP Design consists of a senior structural engineer, two senior drafts people and an office manager with a combined technical experience of over 90 years.
Geoffrey Pryke, our senior engineer has been in the consulting industry for over 30 years and is a member of Engineers Australia.
Geoffrey has been engaged in a wide variety of developments ranging from project home housing to bespoke residences, precast/tilt up residential and industrial developments, forensic engineering and crane installations to 60 Tonne.
GP Design has extensive contacts in the local construction industry and can provide referrals for architects, building and landscape designers, surveyors, geotechnical engineers, civil and hydraulic engineers.

RESIDENTIAL
We have extensive experience in all facets of residential construction from modular housing, heritage structures to superior quality contemporary residences.
We are familiar with all forms of traditional (masonry, timber, steel, concrete, precast concrete) and proprietary construction materials (Dincel, Ritek, Ultrafloor, etc).
Our expertise includes ancillary structures such as swimming pools, retaining walls, screw piling, and floor levelling systems for unstable sites.
We also have extensive experience in forensic engineering for structural movement in houses for insurance and rectification purposes.
COMMERCIAL
Our commercial experience includes retail, administration, aged care, and educational facilities.
We have also assisted with a number of historic church restorations
INDUSTRIAL
Our industrial projects include precast/tilt up buildings, precast burial crypts, crane facilities to 60 Tonnes, crane lifting equipment, steel portal frames and reinforced masonry structures.
